She has original patterns for sale on her Ravelry.com site Lisa Hoffman Knitting. She currently works and teaches knitting classes in New York City.

"With my designing, I love to create patterns that are interesting to work, but are easier than they seem. With my students, I encourage them to learn something new with each project, to build their skills and their confidence, and take responsibility for their own knitting."
